Wild Hare Expeditions trips are more than just tours, they are an educational experience. Novices to the various activities will learn the basic skills of outdoor recreation and minimum impact techniques. Even the most skilled outdoor enthusiast will learn about the area's colorful geology, ecology, and human history.

On those trips where food is provided, Wild Hare Expeditions serves delicious and nutritious meals using local delicacies whenever possible. Special dietary needs or menus are not a problem with advanced notice.

ALL Wild Hare Expeditions guides are trained and certified in Advanced First Aid and CPR. They are well versed in the area's cultural and natural history and possess a love and respect for the country through which you will be traveling. Additionally, Wild Hare guides enjoy being with people and sharing this special area we call home with our guests. We hope to make the time you spend with us the most memorable part of your vacation.

TRAILHEAD TAXI

Tired of the headaches of planning that shuttle for that extended backpack Trip? Do you dread having to hitch hike back to your car after that glorious hike through the canyons? Wondering how you can pull of that mountainbike trip and still have time to make it back to your vehicles? We can help! Wild Hare Expeditions offers a TRAILHEAD TAXI service, both one way (we drop your vehicle off at the end of the trail, and you at the beginning of the trail) and two way (we drop you off and pick you up). Scenic Drives

Wild Hare Expeditions offers numerous scenic drives for those of our guests who want to see the wonderful backcountry of Southern Utah without the rough ride of four wheel drive jeep trails. Although we get off the pavement and onto dirt roads, the ride is much smoother than our 4x4 trips. We do use vehicles equipted with four wheel drive and off road suspension in case the weather turns bad (good weather is never a sure thing in canyon country!). Just sit back, leave the driving to us and enjoy the scenery. You don't even have to worry about getting your car dirty!

HIKING TOURS

The backcountry of Southern Utah offers unparalleled opportunities for hiking. Whatever your liking, be it in the alpine paradise of the mountains or the red rock wonderland of the canyons, we have plenty of trips for those of you who like to feel the earth under their feet and get out and really see the world. BACKPACKING TOURS

There is nothing like the freedom and independence of backpacking. Nothing compares to the feeling of self sufficiency as you pack everything you need onto your back and head off into the wild and into the true heart of the Southwest. Even if you have never backpacked before you will learn the skills to explore the more remote areas of the region. All the equipment you need except for personal items (clothing, outerwear, footwear, and toilet kits) are provided. The following are just a small sample of the trips from which to choose:
